HAWKE: 487 | Ex d & Ex e | Dome Head Stopping Plug
The Hawke 487 dome headed stopping plug is a metallic fitting designed to blank unused openings on hazardous area enclosures. Dual Certified ATEX/IECEx (along with many more) for use in Flameproof (Exd), Increased Safety (Exe) and Dust (Ext) protection concepts. Also approved for use in Group I Mining Applications.

The 487 tamperproof stopping plug is manufactured in Brass, Nickel Plated Brass, Steel, Nickel Plated Steel and Stainless Steel. (Aluminium for Group II use only)
